I got my first real camera - a Pentax - for my 21st Birthday. It was shortly replaced by a Nikon and that has been my preferred brand ever since.

Nearly all of my photos are local to Oamaru, in fact most are taken with 30 minutes of my property

Birds are my main interest and the North Otago area has a phenomenal variety of birdlife

Plants are next on the list.

As the school photographer for Waitaki Boys High School I take a large range of different photos every week . From sports photos to low light photos in the historic Hall of Memories

In my spare time I have also been known to take wedding photos, family photos, horse photos - in fact anything and everything`
